Simon comes from the gritty world of south London, and has traveled around the world working, variously, as a scuba instructor, a camera assistant and a line cook in Manchester at the height of the 24 HOUR PARTY PEOPLE scene, until he broke into the world of comic books and graphic novels.
He drew on his diverse and unique experiences to create buzzy comics such as THE EXTERMINATORS and FBP: FEDERAL BUREAU OF PHYSICS, and he also took over the Constantine series for DC Comics. The success of these books launched Simon's career in features and TV. FBP recently sold to Warner Brothers; David Goyer is producing, and Simon co-wrote the story for the screenplay with Justin Marks. He is also acting as a consultant on the movie. Simon then went on to adapt a book, TIME BOMB, for Andrew Lazar at Mad Chance, and he is currently working on THE LAST BATTLE for Star Thrower Entertainment. Justin Kurzel is attached to direct.
