Mike hails from the Bay Area—specifically Redwood City. He graduated magna cum laude
with a bachelor’s degree in English Literature from Washington University in St. Louis. He went
on to receive an MFA from Northwestern before moving to Los Angeles.
He got his start on Hand of God (Amazon Prime) where he received his first TV writing credit. Continuing with the writing-for-tech-companies theme, he landed a job on Apple TV+’s drama Truth Be Told starring “up-and-comers” Octavia Spencer, Aaron Paul, and Lizzy Caplan. Michael then pivoted to Disney+ to work on Marvel Studio’s upcoming The Falcon and The Winter Soldier and another Marvel series he's not allowed to mention by name for fear of assassins, before returning to Truth Be Told as a producer for Season 2.
