Shawn Wines is a filmmaker based in Los Angeles. He has written comedy pilots for HBO, Fox, NBC and Freeform, working with producers Aaron Kaplan, Dana Honor, John Hamburg, John Krasinki and LeBron James. He wrote the feature comedy SUMMER OF LOVE for director Ivan Reitman, and is attached to direct his first feature, I HOPE YOU'RE HAPPY, with producer Bryan Unkeless. Shawn's short film UPSTAIRS has been viewed millions of times online, and was developed as a pilot for Fox. His short HIGH MAINTENANCE won a Student Academy Award and played at film festivals around the world. He is a graduate of the Columbia University film program.
