Hailing from Canada, Ellie Goodman is a graduate of Northwestern University’s Writing for Screen & Stage MFA program. Her comedic stories of anxiety-ridden young women coming of age include the feature comedy Headcase, which was a finalist for the Humanitas Prize, and the half-hour comedy Therapized, a semi-autobiographical tale of a Jewish Canadian teenager whose parents ship her off to a mental health treatment facility in Utah run by Mormons. Ellie currently resides in Toronto.
